Nicola Killeen Textiles offers a hand painting and ageing service for fabrics and garments. We use the same range of dyes and paints as in screen-printing.

Hand painting is ideal for single piece production, or where a garment has to be coloured and the shape does not permit it to be pinned out flat to accommodate a silkscreen. Hand painting allows for the greatest degree of production freedom.

We are able to age or break down most kinds of fabrics or clothes. Ageing effects are often called for by film and TV production companies where costumes need to meet the demands of the script. Ageing of costumes can thus range from a slightly worn effect, to near disintegration.
